Plasma Mounts

Wow have TV's changed. You can hardly find the bigger heavy ones anymore. They are pretty much the flat HD screens. I like the choices that are available also for plasma mounts. Whether you want it on your wall or a stand, it is available for the doing. We have several now and have enjoyed them. I'm sure we'll get more in the future.
Tiles

We have enjoyed working on our home this past year and a half. When we began in the kitchen, we were unsure of what all we might change. We replaced the lighting, faucet, hardware and flooring and then began to think about the back splash. There were tiles of all kinds to choose from. We decided that was the route we wanted to take. With a little paint we found our room was transformed. We later added a new stainless range and refrigerator. Labels: Home
Ski Vacation

We love to get away and travel. It's always something fun to look forward to doing. Usually we find ourselves in warmer climate since we live in the north. Recently my husband and I have been discussing a different type of trip. Maybe going on a ski vacation of some sort. Looking at an area with colder temperatures is quite a change for us. Weekend

I am glad it is the weekend. It isn't like we don't have things to do but I hope we can relax a bit. I have already done some Christmas shopping so I am ahead of schedule. Bill is going to clean the garage. He doesn't know that yet so don't tell him. Just kidding. He is a good help around here though.

We were recently vacationing in the New York City/ Bronx area. What a neat experience. We had never been to that location. It is quite the city. Golf Fanatic

I have to say that Bill is a golf fanatic. Closely behind are Scott, Jake and Josh. I think that they would all love to be golfing several times a week. They are all fairly good at the sport and I am surprised that they remain calm even when they are not playing as well as they expect. I guess it is a sport that they can participate in through out their lives. I'm glad they are enjoying it. Labels: Sports

It's the ease and time saving factor that draws me in. People everywhere are starting to question many things around them. Are our foods being safely grown and processed? Are the materials in our homes and financial buildings safe for us to be around? Electric Blanket

With the winter months comes some very cool temperatures. We have already begun feeling the chill. We love turning on our electric blanket a few hours before we head to bed. It feels so great to crawl into that warm bed. It helps to take the chill off of those cold sheets.

Fireplace

We are very glad we had a fireplace put in our addition last year. It is a gas unit and has already come in handy this fall. The addition is 20 X 20 and the fireplace makes the room toasty warm. It's well made and goes very nicely with the other furnishings. I just wish we would have gotten the fireplace years ago. Labels: Home

My daughter-in-law Diana held a baby shower for my daughter Jenna this past weekend. There was a great turnout and it was so much fun to see family and friends. Di made the cutest diaper cake as a center piece. She is quite talented in that area. There was a wonderful display of sweets and goodies for everyone to enjoy. We all had a great time! Thank you Di!

It's hard to believe how many years have past since we first purchased a computer. Technology has quickly progressed. I can't imagine not having a computer now. We soon found that we were in need of some type of antivirus software. You need to protect all that you have worked for. We've learned a lot and have come a long ways. Isn't technology wonderful?!
