Bedtime

Labels: Grandchildren
Recently our grandson Emry was staying with us. At bedtime he and I would go in the bathroom to brush his teeth. We would say our numbers while brushing. It got his mind off of what was really going on. It worked!
Life Insurance Rate
Posted by Vicky
With the economy struggling people are finding ways to save money. When checking into a better car or life insurance rate, we found that it saved us hundreds over a years time. It was well worth looking into. We need to conserve and save where ever we can these days. So often people just don't take the time to research . Save yourself money and check out your coverage. Delta Faucet
Posted by Vicky
Over the past year and a half we have been redoing our home. We started out with some painting and moved on to other things. We redid our upstairs bathroom and installed a new Delta faucet. What a difference it can make. The custom built vanity has been a huge improvement also. Change can be a good thing. Labels: Home

What fun it is to play in the snow with grandchildren!! Grampa had a great time with Emry outside today. The snow was falling and the temps weren't too bad.
Box Cutter
Posted by Vicky
With Christmas around the corner, we have been busy shopping and making lists. For our youngest son we were thinking tools might be a good idea this Christmas. He could use a hammer, box cutter, screw drivers and more. He could also use a tool box so he has somewhere to keep everything. We may just have to do that. We'll have to see. Labels: Holidays
Christmas
Posted by Vicky
We know that the reason for this Christmas season is all about Jesus. Some people just don't know it yet, but many of us do. It is a great time of year to celebrate our Lord. Of course we do that all year long, but at Christmas time many others hear about the greatest story ever known to mankind. Labels: Faith
Cancun All Inclusive
Posted by Vicky
It's winter time and with that comes wanting a great escape to somewhere warm! I have two co-workers who are heading down this winter to Cancun All Inclusive Hotels. I'm beginning to look into it myself. The Karisma Hotels are known for their wonderful secluded white-sand beaches. They are located along the Mexican Riviera Maya. The Gourmet-Inclusive resort appeals to me. They specialize in great food and awesome service. The accommodations sound amazing. What a wonderful way to kick back on a hammock or view the ocean from your room. The Karisma resorts sound heavenly. They have a variety of different types to choose from. Labels: Travel

Our son Josh and his wife Diana had a little baby boy, Israel Michael. He's so precious. He weighed 8 lbs 11oz and 20 1/2 in long. His little brother Emry loves him so much. They are so cute together. Here is also a picture of my son Josh and Israel and I'm holding our other newest grandson, Kaden. :) Life is good!
Hudson Jeans
Posted by Vicky
Christmas is coming fast. I've been busy shopping, wrapping, baking and decorating. Shopping went smoothly this year. My husband and I took a couple of days and went away and shopped. We got most of it done those days. We saw so many things that we can't find around home. Whether it be Hudson jeans or a specialty item, the big cities seem to have it all. We may have to do that again next year. Labels: Holidays
AED
Posted by Vicky
Working at a health care facility, I find that we need to keep up with our CPR certification. Every other year we need to test out again. Over the years I have found that things have changed. We now also learn about the AED as well as CPR and choking. It's a good thing for everyone to know. You may need it in your own life someday. Labels: Health
Health Insurance Lead
Posted by Vicky
With the economy in the state it is in, we are all looking for ways to save money. This past year we went looking for cheaper insurance premiums. Whether it be a health insurance lead or car and home insurance, we found that it is well worth researching. We saved ourselves $500 over the next year. Well worth checking. Labels: Insurance
Modern Furniture
Posted by Vicky
A year or so ago, my husband and I decided to work on redoing our home. It needed some updating. We have done quite a bit so far. We have transformed from country to a more modern feel. Along with painting, flooring, lighting, accessories, modern furniture and more, it now is beginning to have a new look. We have enjoyed the changes. Labels: Home

Our grand daughter turned two just weeks ago. Now she is a Big Sister and so proud of it. She is so good with her little brother Kaden. She loves to hold him and help mommy with his diaper changes. What a little sweetie she is.
Wii
Posted by Vicky
Last Christmas our family thought it would be great to have the Wii. My husband and I ran out and purchased one. It has been fun to play games together when we see them all. Over the past year we have purchased a golf game and some accessories for the Wii. It is quite the game machine. A lot of fun for the whole family to enjoy.
