Daily Deal
Posted by Vicky
What is the daily deal? I know on line you can find a daily deal by looking at certain websites. There are several that we keep our eye on each day. We have actually found some pretty good stuff that way. It's always nice to save money and find a great deal in the process.

These are pictures of our son and son-in-law with their children. Our precious grand children. They are such great daddys and Godly men. We are so thankful for that!
4396710

Have you ever had a problem with one of your appliances? We sure have. It's not much fun either. Have had the washer over flow onto the floor and make quite a mess. We have also had the refrigerator break down with no where to put all of the frozen food. Not to long ago we purchased a new refrigerator. There are so many choices out there. I think the ones that have the water in the front are sure handy. A person can purchase a new 4396710 water filter and many others, just by going on line. It sure is nice to have so much information at our fingertips. Labels: Home
Boots

So, are boots in this winter? I would say so. I recently went out shopping for new black boots. When I got home I began to wonder just how I should wear them. I decided I liked them with my jeans tucked in them. I asked my daughter just to be sure. She often assists me in my fashion choices. She's great!
Prenatal Vitamin
Posted by Vicky
My daughter and daughter-in-law were pregnant much of this past year. They are so good to take their prenatal vitamin and watch what they are eating. They see that it is important to live a healthy life. They are wonderful moms and take such great care of their children. We sure love them. Labels: Health
Best Anti Aging Product
Posted by Vicky
Well, lets face it, I am now beginning to show signs of aging. I guess that's a good thing in a way. It's better to be getting older than not, right? Some feel that they have found the best anti aging product. Maybe they have, but lets face it, we are all going to grow older and with that comes changes in our appearance. I'm willing to grow older gracefully, as they say. I'm not against a good skin care system however. Labels: Health
Treatment For Hair Loss
Posted by Vicky
A few years ago I found myself in a dilemma. I was losing my hair. I wasn't sure why, but could definitely tell that I was having an issue. I sought out help with treatment for hair loss. I tried special shampoos and visited my dermatologist. He assisted me in finding the root of the problem. It was a medication I had been taking. I am thankful that things have improved for me. Herpes Simplex Type 1
Posted by Vicky
Since I was a child I have dealt with herpes simplex type 1 or better known as the common cold sore. They are no fun that is for sure. I am just hoping that my children did not inherit that from their mother. I have known some who actually get them so bad that they begin to spread onto their face and on their nose. They can become quite painful and will usually take 10 days or so before there is no longer a sign of them. My mom has to stay clear of the acid types of foods or she can have a break out. Best Eye Cream
Posted by Vicky
As we grow older we quickly find out that the body just doesn't stay the same. I remember entering my thirties and finding that I suddenly had what appeared to be chicken skin under my eyes. I then began taking better care of my skin looking for the best eye cream I could find and watching the sun bathing. It's important to take care of yourself. It's the only skin you're going to have. Toronto Hotels
Posted by Vicky
My husband and I love to travel. We usually begin with, will it be a warm a cool destination? Then it's on to all of the details for that next vacation. Toronto Canada is a location we have not visited. It looks as though there are many Toronto hotels and a variety of things to see and do. It just may be what we are looking for. I'll have to research it further. Labels: Travel
Fitness Equipment
Posted by Vicky
Well, like most people my husband and I are both thinking about trying to lose some weight and get into better shape. Having some fitness equipment in our home helps with the process. I would rather spend the time working out at home then traveling out to a gym somewhere to work out. My husband however really enjoys going to the local YMCA. I guess what ever works, right?! Pills for Zoe
Posted by Vicky
Lately our dog Zoe has had some sores on her tummy area. The vet said they were a type of staff infection and prescribed some pills for her to take. There lies the problem. Zoe is not good at taking pills. We have to bury them in other food or somehow trick her into taking them. It is quite the process but we are handling it. For lunch today Bill gave her dry dog food, left over roast and rice. He even put warm water over it and then microwaved it. At least she ate it.

Snow and more snow!
Posted by Vicky
Labels: Family
The grand kids sure had fun in the snow over Christmas break. We found that we no longer owned a sled and couldn't find one in town. Our pastor was kind enough to give us an old one that they had and no longer used. It's a cute little thing and the kids loved it!
Blinds
Posted by Vicky
With all of the work we have done on our home this past year or so, we still have more to finish up the look we are striving to achieve. There are many areas a person can begin in changing a room. Window treatment, whether it is blinds, curtains or sheers, can help transform the look. Paint is very important also. Choosing that perfect color is not always an easy task. I'm glad that we at least enjoy these projects. Labels: Home

Our grandchildren love each other. They look forward to spending time together. I hope that they always feel that way and am glad that they are living close enough that they can spend time together like they do.
Loose Diamonds
Posted by Vicky
Anyone that knows me very well, knows how much I enjoy jewelry. My husband and I love to stop in to our favorite jewelry store time and again. We have shopped in the past for loose diamonds and then put them into a new setting. I have also shopped with my son and son-in-law when they were diamond hunting for their future brides. It's always a fun adventure. Labels: Jewelry
Textbooks
Posted by Vicky
Well, it has been awhile since I had to think about studying and textbooks. When my children were in college is was unbelievable the cost of books and supplies needed each semester. They found ways at times to save money. They needed to do all they could at that time. Education is very much worth while however. As my husband always told them, "no one can take your education away from you" and he was correct! Labels: Education
