Auto Insurance
Posted by Vicky
Well, it's that time of year again. We have to look at paying our auto insurance. I am so thankful that we have done our research and found more reasonable car insurance. It has saved us hundreds of dollars a year. Today with the economy in the shape it is in, it is important to save pennies where ever one can. A person also has to watch their driving record because that can drastically affect your insurance premiums. Labels: Insurance
Cigars
Posted by Vicky
When I was growing up my dad was a smoker. I remember him buying one of those cigarette machines that would roll his cigarettes. Then he got into smoking a pipe for a while. It definitely smelled different from his cigarette smoke. I also remember him smoking cigars some. They also had their own odor. I think my dad just enjoyed smoking.
Promotional Calenders
Posted by Vicky
The years seem to fly by quickly. With each turning page of the calender we find ourselves closer to the next year. At work I enjoy having several different size calenders around me. They are used for different purposes. The promotional calenders are always a welcomed gift. I use a very small one by my computer. The larger ones are in use daily by our patients. It's nice to be given these each year. Labels: Career

Car Insurance Quotes
Posted by Vicky
With the economy in the shape that it is in these days we are all looking for ways to save money. This past year my husband and I decided we would check into our insurance. With a new car insurance quote in hand we could see that it would be worth our time to look into different insurance. We figured we saved over $500 in a years time. It was well worth taking the time to check it out. Labels: Insurance
Gas Prices
Posted by Vicky
It seems like the gas prices have started to drop a little. We have become quite accustomed to gas that is close to three dollars a gallon. Now, at nearly $2.45, we get excited to see the price that 'low'. What a sad thing to think that is a low price. I remember when I was growing up Bill's dad had a gas station and sold gas for 35 cents a gallon. Wow, what a change.
Hair Loss Cure
Posted by Vicky
Unless you have experience it for yourself, you can never quite understand how those who are losing their hair might feel. A couple of years ago I began losing hair. Over a couple of months time it became quite obvious. I was dashing to find a hair loss cure. Was it age, stress or something else? Well, for me it happened to be from a medication I was currently taking at the time. It is not a fun thing to go through. You feel pretty helpless to say the least. Labels: Health
Blackheads On Nose
Posted by Vicky
A few years ago I began going to a Dermatologist. He has helped me in several ways. I didn't realize how many different types of conditions the human skin can have. I started out by having a cancerous spot removed. I now have a yearly check to make sure things are fine. Some people deal with blackheads on nose, forehead or elsewhere. The skin is a funny thing. Appetite Suppressant Reviews
Posted by Vicky
Along with the topic of aging is weight loss. Many men and women both the young and the old, are struggling today with image. A person can read about appetite suppressant reviews and weight loss success stories, but what's best for you individually? Perhaps it's to better monitor your caloric intake and increase physical activity. The two seem to go hand in hand for most. Labels: Health
Cellulite Cures
Posted by Vicky
As we grow older we find many changes. A person can find that they are experiencing hair thinning, weight gain and even looking for cellulite cures. It's just part of the growing older process. We must each accept what we are dealt and deal with it. I'm thankful to be growing older. There are some that can not say that.
Prenatal Vitamins.
Posted by Vicky
My daughter and daughter-in-law recently gave birth to two beautiful baby boys! They are such precious little gifts from God. The girls enjoyed going through their pregnancies together. They would compare notes on prenatal vitamins, weight gain, stretch marks and more. It was fun to listen to them. Now they are spending time enjoying their bundles of joy. Toasty Warm
Posted by Vicky
We have had our fireplace for a couple years now and love it. It is nice to sit and be toasty warm on a cold winter night like this. We had talked about adding a fireplace for the past several years. Looking back, it would have been nice to have it years ago. It is one of the best things we have added to our home.
Buy Gold Bullion
Posted by Vicky
If you are looking to sell or buy gold bullion, now there is a new market for it. The Capital market Supervisory Board has stamped its approval on the Thailand stock market. They are allowing two types of gold ETFs in the market. There is the overseas gold fund and direct investing in the local market. You will find rules and regulations to follow. One requirement is the permission of the Bank of Thailand. There are also the purity standards that must be met and an overseer of holdings. It's good to know that the gold market is overseen and protected.

Laptop Sleeve
Posted by Vicky
I would like to buy a laptop sleeve. You know, a thin zip up case to protect the laptop from scratches. There are so many brands to choose from but most look very similar. I don't want to spend much so I am trying to do research to find the best one at a reasonable price.

Netbook
Posted by Vicky
We have a desktop and a laptop computer but we would like to buy a netbook. We have seen many different brands and models online and in the stores but we aren't sure which one is right for us. It seems like most are a 10.1 display. That seems pretty small but I think we could get used to it. If you have a suggestion on which netbook we should buy please let me know. Labels: Technology
Compost Tumbler
Posted by Vicky
Well, hopefully spring will be here before we know it. Winter has been long and the smells of spring are approaching quickly. We can then get out into the yard and whip it into shape. A compost tumbler would be a nice addition to our yard equipment. The ease and convenience would be nice. May have to look into that.
Max Lucado's Antonio Meets His Match DVD Review
Posted by Vicky
I remember having very choices when it came to finding children's videos with a good message when my kids were younger. Today, it seems there are more choices, but I think it's still important to be picky and only choose those movies that have a good message. I recently had the opportunity to review Antonio Meets His Match, the newest DVD to release from Max Lucado's Hermie and Friends Series. We have one of the other movies from this series and really like it...so I was hopeful that we'd enjoy this one just as much.
Having young grandchildren, it's very important to me that I have a collection of wholesome movies to choose from. After having had the opportunity to watch this DVD, I can tell you that it's one I'm proud to have on my shelf! The kids seem to really enjoy it. I'm not sure how much they got from the message of 'being a good neighbor', but I still feel like some of had to of sunk in. As they get older, it will make even more sense...and loving thy neighbor is an important thing for us all to remember.
I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was animated very well...it didn't look cheaply made at all! I also liked the focus of the story. Antonio was the head ant in a way, because all the other ants looked up to him. When foreign ants moved into the garden, he wanted them to leave, but God reminded him that he must love his neighbors. It's definitely a hard lesson, but one I think all children should learn and hear over and over again. I would highly recommend this DVD to any parent, or grandparent!
~I received this DVD in return for my honest opinion. This was not a paid post.
ipods
Posted by Vicky
Technology has come so far. I can remember when we would go for walks carrying our Disc man. We thought they were small and convenient. Now you find the ipods. They hold a huge quantity of information. From music to photos. They are quite the thing. My daughter-in-law received one and just loves it. They have a docking station for it so they can enjoy it at home also. What a neat invention. Labels: Technology
