Barbie House
Posted by Vicky
One of the fun things our daughter remembers as a child is the barbie house her dad made for her. With a daughter of her own now, she thought it would be fun and very special if Grampa made her one too. I don't know that it will be the exact same as Jen's was, but it will have a lot of love put into it. Even though Christmas is several months away still, we plan to get out the safety glasses, wood, paint and other things we need and get started on it. I'm excited to see Kaelyn's little face when she get it...I'm sure she'll be just tickled!
Kichler Lighting
Posted by Vicky
In working to update our home over the past couple of years, we have enjoyed shopping for lighting. The Kichler lighting appears to be modern and stylish. There are a variety of types to choose from. I love the stainless modern styles. Weather it is a ceiling light or a lamp, they have it covered. It's amazing how the lighting in a room can suddenly transform your space into a whole new look. WipeOut
Posted by Vicky
Have you ever watched the television show WipeOut? We never had until recently. There were commercials showing what the show was like so we watched it tonight. It shows people competing in types of obstacle courses. They make the courses quite difficult and no person gets by with some kind of wipe out. It is hilarious to watch. The announcers make it even more fun by all the comments made. If you want to see a funny show, watch WipeOut.
Birth Announcements
Posted by Vicky
We have been blessed to have four new grand babies over the past two years. What a blessing they truly are! Their moms found such great ways to announce their births. The birth announcements that are out there today are so cute and creative. You can find just about anything to suit you personally. What a wonderful time of life. Labels: Grandchildren
Teeth Whitening
Posted by Vicky
There are several different ways to whiten teeth. I have some trays that were made for my teeth. A whitening gel is placed in the trays and then placed over the teeth for a short time, about half an hour. Teeth can become sensitive if the gel and trays are kept in too long. It sure does make teeth whiter. I like that. People can check with their dentist for more information.
Buying Precious Metals
Posted by Vicky
Did you know that the United States Gold Bureau makes it easy to purchase silver, gold and other precious metals and coins? They even arrange for immediate personal delivery or safe storage at a bank or depository for you. If you're interested in silver, now is definitely a good time to buy. World demand exceeds annual production and has every year since 1990! As an investment product, silver is available in coin or ingot form. The ingots are cast in a convenient size and shape and the option I would probably choose.

Warm Day
Posted by Vicky
Today it got quite warm. We have had rain the past few days and we finally had some sunny skies today. By the end of the week it is supposed to be about 90 degrees. Like Bill always says, it is better than snow. I agree with him on that. I like the warmth but I prefer it not be too hot either. If it would stay about 75 in the day and in the 50s at night I would love it.
Bridesmaid Gifts
Posted by Vicky
A few years ago, we found ourselves very busy. Our two oldest children were married eight days apart. I experienced the many details that are associated with a wedding. The girls were very good about taking care of certain things such as the bridesmaid gifts. Those needed to be more of a personal item. It was a lot of fun, but I had forgotten what all went into planning such an event. Especially when there were two of them so close together. Labels: Family

We enjoy our family so much. We feel very blessed when we can all get together in one place. This past weekend was one of those moments. With our youngest grandson Israel's dedication, we were all together. The toddlers have the best time together. They play, laugh and run. I'm sure they are very tired by the time mom and dad lay them down at bedtime.
Buy Gold Coins
Posted by Vicky
In today's financial world, people have become more cautious. This in turn has caused the private individual to research and contemplate his spending and investing more carefully. Gold has been recognized for many years as a secure commodity. A person can buy gold coins or ingots from the United States Gold Bureau. They also provide silver and other precious metals for purchase. There is immediate delivery or arrangements made to have delivery to a safe place of storage, such as an independent bank. The market is showing that this is a great time for buying. What an awesome way to protect your wealth and give you purchasing power. Click in and check it out. Labels: Investments

Labels: Grandchildren
There we are, proud grandparents once again! Our youngest grandson was dedicated to the Lord this past Sunday. We had a wonderful time celebrating the occasion. All of our family was able to be present. Our daughter-in-law made a amazing meal for us all following the service. What a blessing our family is to us.
