Table Saw

My husband was in need of a table saw. He said he could do the trim work with his circular saw but that a table saw would be more handy. There are some that are very expensive. We don't need a top of the line model just something for our little projects around the house. We are limited on storage so we need the saw to be fairly small.
Rackmount lcd

Technology has somewhat exploded! It is difficult to keep up with all of the changes. We continue to purchase the latest desktop, net book or laptop that is offered out there. Now there are rackmount lcd displays and other mountings for laptops. We recently traveled and took our net book along. What a light weight handy piece of technology. I'm sure we will see other new and great computer products on the market in our future. Labels: Technology
Deep Wrinkle Eye Cream

We had a great week in Las Vegas recently. My husband had to work during the day, so while he was away I got to play. I enjoyed several hours of relaxation by the pool. However my skin didn't like the sun very well. After about three days I found myself needing some deep wrinkle eye cream. My eyes were quite puffy and the wrinkles were showing. Ceiling Fan

We bought a new ceiling fan for the office. I think that we might get it installed today. My husband is doing some other chores right now so my hope is that by later today we have the new fan in place. I really think I could do the work because I have helped Bill put several in our home but I am going to let him do this one and I will help if he needs me.

Travel

I like the next guy enjoys travel. However, in most cases I am well ready to return home after being away for a week or so. As they say "There's no place like home." I do enjoy seeing different parts of the country and world. People live so differently. The landscaping it quiet amazing. I often will check out the trees and bushes. It's fun to see how dry, green or wet the grass and land are. I'm sure I'll continue to travel more. Labels: Travel

Many young people are getting done with their college years and ready for a position in the work force. Some people that aren't so young are looking for something different or maybe a career after retirement. It seems like there are a tremendous amount of technology jobs around us today. Snack

There are some evening when we like to have a snack while watching television. One of our favorites is popcorn. Of course we wouldn't want to have popcorn with some M&Ms mixed in. We usually have the peanut kind but the plain ones are quite good too. In fact, it sounds good right now. Goodbye to the computer and hello to a good evening snack.
Christmas Cards

I have a co-worker who is always announcing to each one of us just how many months, weeks and days until Christmas. Even in February she will say how many months left until Christmas. She's a silly woman. Anyway, it really isn't that far off anymore. I'm beginning to think of gift ideas, Christmas cards and decor. It really does come around quickly. In checking into ways to stay fit and healthy you can come across many products. I saw muscle building supplements as well as weight loss medications. I'm sure most of you have seen the body builders out there today. Do you think that they take these muscle building supplements or do they do it all on their own? I'm not sure. Maybe a mix on that???
Fireplace

It won't be long and we will be using our fireplace again. It has started to get pretty cool at night. Within a month or so I am sure having the fireplace on will be appreciated. I don't like the really cold weather but having it cooler isn't all bad. We at least get rid of the bugs then.
Acne Products

We have raised three beautiful children. As they were growing up we found we had a variety of challenges. Each one of them is so different and have their own desires, dreams and concerns. Through out the teen years we struggled some with acne issues. Thank goodness it was never a huge problem, but still found ourselves researching a variety of acne products. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing? It's so easy to find exactly what you're looking for many times. With watching my health and trying to take care of my body I have found great informational sites like glucomannan and others. To read and research about toning muscles, exercise, weight lose and more is a breeze. What use to take hours of research is now seconds away at the tip of our fingers. It's quite the creation.
One A Day Vitamins

When I was younger I didn't really think much about my health and well-being. I was young so why should I? Well, now looking back I know that it is important to take care of our bodies at every age. My husband and I began taking one a day vitamins. We feel that we are hopefully receiving those needed vitamins that we may not be receiving other wise. Boy, ya know it is very true what they say. As you grow older you begin to put on the weight. For us women it is often in our mid section. I have seen many ads promoting products that will work in burning belly fat. If this would actually work, I would love it! That is definitely my problem area. My husband baked some chocolate chip cookies the other night. We generally freeze a couple dozen so we can enjoy them whenever we want. This time I think he has been snitching some when I am not around. They seem to be going faster than usual. I think we are down to a small bag in the freezer. Our oldest son and his family recently purchased a new home/acreage. They are so excited. Now come the details. They are comparing quotes for home insurance. While in this process the companies look at a person's credit score. I'm sure that is important to the insurance company. They have to look out for themselves also. It shows that it is very important to maintain a good score.
Waiting To Mow

Since it rained last night, Bill has to wait until the grass dries before he can mow. I know he wants to get that job done today. He is busy doing other chores around the house this morning. It seems like there are so many little things that need to be done. I guess that is a good thing. Staying busy is a positive thing.

New TV

I don't really know what makes some new televisions better than previous models. Now there are LED sets rather than LCD. We were told last night in a store that the LED type are better, have a crisper picture and don't get as hot. We could use a new set in our home but I don't know if the LED television is worth the extra money.
Where Did Summer Go?

It was only the other day, or so it seemed, that we were having summer weather. I don't mind the cool nights because it is great for sleeping but it does seem like we should have more summer weather before it turns cold. I am not a fan of winter as my friends will tell you. I enjoy the other seasons but I am not ready to let go of summer. Do I have a choice?

Old Age

Well, I am starting to see the signs of age. Recently I was helping take care of my grandson. I was wearing this back pack type carrier. He weighs about twenty one pounds now, so he feels quite heavy on my back. It was time for the dog to go for a walk and potty. Well, he made his mess and I knew that I needed to kneel down and pick it up. That's the right thing to do you know? :) So that's what I did. Well, while down cleaning up his mess, I realized that I felt off balance and couldn't stand up on my own. In my mind I felt like I should be able to do it, but I just didn't have the strength or balance to stand up safely. Luckily there was a guy close by. I waved him over and asked if he could help me. He asked what I would like him to take and he reached for Kaden. I said, no, I just need you to take my hand and help me stand up. I was soooo embarrassed. I guess my balance just isn't as good as it use to be. And neither is my strength. It was an eye-opener that's for sure.
This is my daughter and Kaden. :)

For many years we have had a desk top computer. I love it and wouldn't want to be without it. It is convenient and comfortable. In recent years we decided that it would be nice to have a laptop computer. It is nice to sit down on the sofa and be able to bring up our email if we would like too. In the past year we began looking into the netbooks. We did end up purchasing one and have loved it! It is so handy and light weight. We take it when ever we travel. Labels: Computers

There are time that I can become confused by all of the different types of insurance that are available out there today. You can find a term life ins, home insurance, car insurance, life insurance and other types. What is important and what does a person really need to secure and protect their family? I know that we personally have some of each one of these. It seems they all do a specific job of covering an individual. I guess each one of us must decide for ourselves what is best. New Shed

I think we are going to build a new shed in our back yard. It is something that has been needed for quite awhile. We aren't sure yet how big it will be but we hope it is big enough to store most of our yard work items, such as mowers, tools etc. Bill is checking into the cement work and will then getting to building.
